Wind Turbine Blade Design Project: We are finishing up our design project. Students should be finishing up testing their blades and recording the results in their spreadsheet in Google Classroom (Step 4). Once that is completed you can move on to Step 5 the Final Assignment.

Scribbler's Stage Class: Students were working on their alphabet poem. Students are to take each letter of the alphabet and tell me something about themselves.

Students were introduced to the work of Emily Carr. We also viewed a video created by yours truly which demonstrated the watercolour practice techniques we will begin next class. Students prepared their paper.

Students have completed watching the movie The Hunger Games. Anyone who missed part pf the movie should try to watch it at home. Students will now be required to write a text to text connections essay between The Hunger Games and any three stories we have read in class so far this year. Students will receive their actual assignments tomorrow and will have some class time to work on it in class. This will be due Wednesday, Oct. 31st.
